Today we are making a fun Turkey craft for kids using our feet! This footprint turkey arts and crafts is great for piddling crafters, toddlers & preschoolers…even baby can participate in the Thanksgiving craft fun.

I decided to do a play on the traditional paw impress turkeys; we are making a foot print turkey!  Kids Activities Blog loves colorful and creative (and easy) turkey crafts like this one that kids of all ages can enjoy.

This, like many of our other Thanksgiving crafts, do not require a lot of supplies. Many of these you might already have laying around!

Supplies Needed

  • chip pieces of paper
  • construction paper
  • glue
  • brown paint
  • paintbrush
  • orange newspaper
  • cerise newspaper

Choose whatever paper yous have on hand!

Stride 1

To begin with, I had Rory choice out different types of paper. Rory picked out the bright colorful pieces of scrap paper.

Step two

I then cutting these out into a feather shape; rounded and larger at the acme and smaller at the bottom.

When they are all cut out, accept your child put some glue on the back of the feathers and arrange them on the construction paper. Nosotros chose to use five feathers, one a the pinnacle, two at the bottom, and two in betwixt the top feather and the bottom feather.

Step 4

Then it was Rory's favorite part- the Footprints! We painted all of Rory's feet, she used the paintbrush to paint her heels, toes, and rest of the foot.

Step five

Turn the paper with the feathers upside downwardly and put the footprint on the newspaper.

Step six

Set them aside to dry.

Step vii

While they are drying, we cut out a triangle beaks out of the orange structure newspaper, and the turkey necks out of the red construction paper.

I also grabbed some googly eyes for each of the turkeys. Once the turkeys are dry yous can apply the beaks, necks, and eyes.

We can't wait to hang up our turkeys!

  10. We then added some Thanksgiving stickers. We can't look to hang up our turkeys!
